Appointment Information
First Visit
Each new patient will be asked to complete a form before their visit outlining their health history. This will help the doctors make a prompt and accurate assessment during the first visit. Please bring your current insurance cards, including Medicare cards, and any current prescription bottles. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointments to complete registration and other paperwork.
Routine Visit
The goal of Kannapolis Internal Medicine is to provide adults with prompt, easy access to quality healthcare. Our doctors see patients by appointment during normal office hours. A triage nurse will discuss your medical needs with you and arrange for an appropriate appointment. A nurse practitioner is on staff to provide additional medical treatment to our patients. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will give us a chance to update all our records and give the nurses time to record changes in your medical condition and reason for the visit. Always bring your insurance cards, including Medicare cards, and all prescription bottles.
Prescription Refills
Please contact for pharmacy for your refills. The pharmacy will then contact us to obtain authorization. Please allow 2 business days for your prescription to be refilled at your pharmacy.
Cancellation Policy
Please call at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment if you need to reschedule. This is a courtesy to our staff and other patients who may need to be seen. We do have a “no show” policy. If you do not provide adequate notification, you may be charged a “no show” fee.
